“I really appreciate how thoughtfully the program was arranged and supported a progressive unveiling of ourselves and the work that we need to do.”

Liz Lamb

"This retreat fulfilled me in every way. The yoga and mindfulness, the village, outings and culture was everything I was looking for and more." Kristen M

"This retreat was the perfect balance of introspection and healthy activities with rosé, shopping and social time! I felt I could have space to be alone and relax if I wanted to or mingle with others if I wanted to be more social. Lisa and Jennifer planned everything out so the days were perfectly balanced with activities but also time to do what we wanted!" A.

"I’m so grateful that Lisa shared her knowledge, friends and love of the area with our yoga group."

"Spending a week on this yoga retreat in this enchanting village in Provence, France, with 10 other amazing women was nothing short of transformative. Nestled among the rolling hills of Provence between grape vines and lavender fields, the setting alone felt like something out of a dream. Our breathtaking 18th century restored Chateau was enfolded in a private, secret garden with magical outdoor and indoor gathering places, and a swimming pool. The serene and spacious bedrooms offered a restful escape at the end of each day to reflect and connect."

"If you have an opportunity to attend a retreat led by Joy and Lisa, run, don't walk to sign up! They will lead you in a kind and nurturing way on a path of self-discovery and mind/body wellness. They have so much knowledge to share. If you are looking to make positive changes in your life, attend one of their retreats."

Lori C.

"In the busy years of caring for families and building careers, it is easy to lose touch with ourselves. We all know that self-care is important, but for me it almost always falls to the bottom of the list - drowned out by more urgent demands on my time. Lisa's 2025 Retreat was the perfect way to un-plug and reconnect with myself. Our time in France was magical, and the friendships formed and memories made more valuable to me than I could ever have imagined. While my body might be full of French cheese and pastries, I ended the week feeling lighter than I have in years. Thank you - Merci beaucoup!" - A. Stanley

"This retreat was magical. It was held in a beautiful villa nestled in a charming town where I enjoyed exploring. Our group was supportive and interesting. Our excursions were wonderful also! "

“This was my second retreat, and as I look back, I realize how transformative these experiences have been. I'm beginning to see what I need to do to find more peace in my soul. I have insights that I would not have had except for these experiences in a safe and supportive environment with very wise leadership.”

“Joy and Lisa are not only incredible yoga teachers but amazing spirit guides and healers whose physical practices and spiritual exercises will bring you into great connection with yourself and others. From the deeper peace of understanding to which your work with them will guide you, you will find freedom and courage to release what you no longer want to carry and identify patterns that no longer serve you.”

Liz Lamb

"What will remain with me the longest was the bond we formed as a group. Though we arrived as strangers to many of the others, we left as sisters, sharing stories, supporting one another, and holding space for vulnerability and growth. We reconnected with ourselves and found community and a new sense of how to feel truly alive. I returned home more in tune with myself and caring deeply for others I hardly knew a week before. It was the energy, connection, and shared intention of the group that truly made it unforgettable. If you are looking for a truly remarkable retreat, this is it!!!" AHB

Being in Provence was a dream come true. Where we stayed amazing home, built in 1790. The food that was provided for us was absolutely delicious. And healthy. We had an excursion that was so much fun. The town was close by, and being in Provence was a dream come true. Furthermore, if we had a break, we could walk to get a cappuccino or shop around the village. We stayed in a truly amazing home, built in 1790. The food that was provided for us was absolutely delicious and very healthy. The hardest thing about the retreat was the flight getting there and going home.

“The retreat has been a profound experience. Joy and Lisa offered a safe space and beautiful tools, such as yoga, introspection, positive intelligence and presenting that will have a lasting impact.”

"Our mornings began with coffee, followed by yoga that grounded us in the moment and opened our hearts to whatever the day would bring. Our instructors were skilled and compassionate...helping even the most inexperienced of us to feel challenged, accomplished, and restored. We had nourishing breakfasts, lunches, and dinners prepared from fresh local ingredients by our fascinating Norwegian caretakers. We explored the charming streets and stores of our village and were captivated by the local market held on Tuesday mornings. There were outings to neighboring towns for fabulous views and meals, a visit to a local Chapel for 5:00 vespers sung by an order of Catholic nuns, a visit to a pottery owned by a friend of our organizer, and even a shopping experience in nearby Saint Tropez, visiting the iconic Nikki Beach resort for lunch."

“Absolutely beautiful, powerful and unexpectedly transformative retreat that I will continue to learn from for years to come.”

Alex Campos

"Christine has always wanted a mother/daughter experience. So, when she received an email about a yoga retreat in Provence, we thought it was the excellent opportunity to see France, do a little yoga, and have time together, which was the most important thing. Chris dabbles in yoga and I’d done yoga for ten years. Little did I know what yoga retreat in Provence meant. I have learned about my saboteurs and my rest and digest side. We addressed both the physical and mental aspects of yoga, releasing tension in both our bodies and minds. I left with a toolbox to help me address our flight and flght triggers whenI’m back home in my environment. I feel that the rest and repose side of my life will be a goal in my daily life. I’ve also learned a lot about my body, the nervous system and how to open it, soothe it, and heal it. As for Provence, we were dropped into a beautiful town. The landscapes, the trees, the flowers, the people, the food, the shops, have embraced us. Our hosts, the owners of this beautiful villa, have spoiled us, cooking our meals and serving us with beautiful local wine and cheeses. Their hospitality, from the time they greeted us in the morning with a beautiful fresh breakfast to our evening meal was a five star Michelin. My fellow yogis are each so unique. They have been open, sharing their yoga search and experience, their lives, their hobbies, their loves and their pain. Lisa and Jennifer have led us in yoga and release, teaching us so much about our bodies. I will never be the same." Sally G.

The BEST things about this Retreat was the Connection and Openness. Also the People that guided us though our weekend: the workout, energy and nourishment. Thank You.

Lisa, Jody and Robin wrapped us in a three-day-long compassionate embrace as we explored new aspects of ourselves and grew in our love for each other. It was a life altering experience- one that will show up in my "life review".

Hard to say what the Best thing about the Release and Connect Retreat was.... so many. I will say for me the Best thing was the Synergy of the participants, combined with movement, expression but mostly support.

This was all done is a very safe, peaceful, and protected environment.

A wonderful mix of education, experiencing new things, meeting and connecting with new people, great food, great people, sharing struggles, fun, laughter( belly laughs), beauty. I was the beneficiary of all the blessings that flowed from the hard work and the willingness of the whole group to connect in such a meaningful way.

What a fabulous experience! Getting in touch with my mind and body to truly learn to listen to it. Lindsey and Lisa are the best at teaching you how to connect and replenish yourself. For a new yogi, the instructions were easy to comprehend and follow. An experience I will never forget.

I recommend Release and Connect. The workshops and Yoga are worth it! The added surprises made me feel so happy and relaxed. The accommodations exceeded my expectations. Lisa and Lindsey are both very kind individuals and provided a safe, small group experience for each the attendee to share their stories and experiences in life.

This retreat was life-changing for me. There are so many positives it I will inadvertently leave something out. I went in with some specific goals of wanting to change some things in my life. I am at a natural point in life for this. I want to concentrate on loving myself and intentionally doing things from a health and wellness perspective to increase the quality of my life as I age. This retreat feed into that goal on many different levels. It far exceeded expectations. The preparation by Lindsey and Lisa was extremely evident. They know their stuff and have tremendous knowledge. They are very gifted in their ability to teach and give guidance and technical instruction. They are respectful and not judgmental.

Kathy

Awesome job all around! Y’all did an amazing job pulling together a group unique in their own right but open and willing to share and extend to others. Just enough structure and relaxation. Can’t leave out the Chefs either. I was having anxiety over clean eating 🤪and wondering how big a suitcase I was going to have to pack. Then decided there might be suitcase inspection so nixed that idea! (Don’t get that idea for future retreats). The food was fabulous and I believe worked for everyone’s eating agenda. I tried a lot of new things for me. My favorite (excluding the pizza) was the mahi.

Sandy Hundley

The yoga practices were great. Different approaches were taught. The communications were great. The ability to lead the workshops and allow for individuality but keeping it focused on the entire group. Everybody got plenty of focus and it always seemed balance. We could talk about weakness/troubles, but stay in a positive mindset.

K

I recommend Release and Connect. The workshops and Yoga are worth it! What about a Silent Room Option. A room where we can all go into that no words, nor sounds. A room with candles, soft blankets, a place to Reflect.
